One project idea that came up at the Topeka and Lawrence Ken Meter presentations in Oct. 2008 was to start with a particular food (fruit or vegetable?) and see if the KRV (Kansas River Valley) could grow enough to feed itself. Possibilities are things like garlic, sweet potatoes, or apples.
